2 1/2-ton Truck, Troop Carrier Medium (Horizon 2) Acquisition Project of the Armed Forces of the Philippines

The Armed Forces of the Philippines has raised the requirement to acquire 310 units of 2 1/2-ton Troop Carrier 6x6 Trucks as part of the Horizon 2 Phase Priority Projects under the Revised AFP Modernization Program.

The project, which is called the 2 1/2-ton Truck, Troop Carrier Medium Acquisition Project, will boost the AFP's tactical transport requirements as it improves overall mobility of all services while replacing ageing trucks that were mostly acquired from the US armed forces.
